Trauma Codes in Chaos Zero Nightmare: How to Unlock & Rewards
Trauma Codes are character-focused story stages in CZN. Clear the Epione Center substory in Chapter 2 to unlock them, then buy a Special Security Code from Nono's Shop for 20 Policy Points to open a specific combatant's Trauma Code.
Trauma Codes are additional story stages in Chaos Zero Nightmare that dig into a specific combatant's most intense trauma — separate from the main story, and unlocked one combatant at a time.
How to unlock Trauma Code
| Step | Detail |
|---|---|
| 1. Clear Epione Center substory | Found in Chapter 2, Episode 5. Finishing it opens the Trauma Code option inside the Epione Center in Ark City. |
| 2. Buy a Special Security Code | Sold at Nono's Shop in Ark City for 20 Policy Points each. Each code unlocks one specific combatant's Trauma Code. |
Trauma Codes released so far
| Combatant | Title |
|---|---|
| Haru | A Flickering Gleam on a Rusted Anchor |
| Renoa | Roses Awaiting in the Coming Morning |
Battle Missions
Once a Trauma Code event is unlocked, it also opens limited-time battles ("Trauma Code Battle Missions") that hand out extra rewards on top of the story stages themselves.
Rewards & 100% Synchronization
Each star you clear in a Trauma Code stage grants Crystals. Play through every branching story path and clear all Battle Missions to reach 100% Synchronization — doing so hands you 2 Signal Amplification Anchors on top of the per-star Crystal rewards. Both the Haru and Renoa Trauma Codes currently reward 2 Signal Amplification Anchors each.
